Some of the first albums to be slapped with a ‘Parental Advisory’ label were hip hop artists in the early 90s rapping about…police brutality and racial injustice. A lot of artists were worried that the label was a form of censorship. But in reality, the label boosted sales because people were curious of the ‘explicit content’ within and helped their art become more mainstream. Do what you will with these images. Make signs, posters, stickers, whatever. If a ‘tipper sticker’ can boost their message, maybe this can help do the same.
